Tour Highlights New Orleans French Quarter, Garden District, St. Louis Cemetery #3, City Park, 9th Ward - New Orleans French Quarter - Our tour starts in the French Quarter, one of the oldest and most historical areas in the United States. As our air conditioned luxury 25 Passenger mini coach strolls up and down the streets of New Orleans French Quarter, our guides provide a detailed narration about New Orleans history and architectural influences. - Garden District -
Multi-million dollar mansions line the streets of the garden district; Ann Rice, John Goodman, Sandra Bullock, Delta Burke, and Ely Manning all have homes here. The garden district is also home to The Real World house, St Charles Ave, and Magazine Street. Commanders Palace is one of our historical restaurants, it was raided by Elliot Ness during Prohibition. - 9th Ward - See the old and the new in the area that was hardest hit by hurricane Katrina. Many Pre Katrina homes still remain, although new homes are being built by Habitat for Humanity, and Harry Connick Jr's Musicians Village. - Stopping - The tour stops twice, and we exit the coach for a 20 min bonus tour. Stop #1 - St. Louis Cemetery #3 - Our above ground cemeteries have a unique history that you can only find in New Orleans. Most of the graves here were constructed in the 18th and 19th century, and St Louis Cemetery #3 has some of the most elaborate crypts in New Orleans. Stop #2 - City Park -
The Tour stops about halfway through the tour for a 15 min rest room and refreshment break. Over 13 million people visit city park every year, Its actually larger than Central Park in New York City. If you are only going to do one tour while in New Orleans, this is the tour to do.
